UX Design Strategist
Overview
The UX Design Strategist is responsible for leading user experience strategies and designing compelling, user-centric digital solutions, with a primary focus on website redesign projects, landing pages and creative advertising assets, and conversion rate optimization programs. This role combines strategic thinking with design expertise to craft experiences that drive engagement, conversions, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of UX principles, a keen eye for design, and a passion for creating seamless, intuitive digital experiences that align with client goals.
Responsibilities
User Experience Strategy:
- Develop UX strategies for website redesigns, landing pages, and creative campaigns by aligning business objectives with user needs.
- Conduct user research, including stakeholder interviews, surveys, and competitive analyses, to inform project strategies.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and site architecture plans to guide design decisions.
Design Execution:
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web pages, landing pages, and ad creatives using tools like Figma.
- Ensure designs are visually compelling, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are translated effectively into functioning digital experiences.
Landing Pages & Ad Creatives:
- Strategize and design high-converting landing pages optimized for lead generation, engagement, or specific campaign goals.
- Design creative ad assets for digital campaigns, ensuring consistency and impact across platforms.
Testing & Optimization:
- Work closely with the analytics team to set KPIs and evaluate the success of designs post-launch.
- Conduct usability testing and implement feedback to refine designs and improve performance.
- Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, data insights, and evolving client needs.
Client Collaboration:
- Present design strategies, concepts, and deliverables to clients, articulating the rationale behind decisions.
- Act as a UX thought leader, educating clients on best practices and the importance of user-centered design.
Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of UX/UI design experience, preferably with website redesign projects and landing pages.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar platforms.
- Experience with user research methods, information architecture, and wireframing.
- Strong understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
- Ability to balance creativity with strategic, data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS).
