Introducing Katie Pitts, EVP: A Leader and Innovator in Senior Living and Healthcare Marketing
We are so excited to welcome Katie Pitts to the Fountain Digital team as our Executive Vice President of Client Service.
Katie is a dynamic professional with an extensive career in senior living and healthcare marketing with nearly 18 years of experience, establishing her as a trusted partner and leader in the industry. Katie is known for her innovative approach to brand strategy and tech-enabled marketing programs.
Early Career and Education
Katie’s academic foundation in marketing began at Rockhurst University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in Marketing. She went on to further her education with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Avila University, both located in Kansas City. Her education equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the competitive field of marketing.
Professional Journey
Her professional journey began at GlynnDevins, a senior living marketing agency based in Kansas City. Here, she spent over 15 years in various Client Service roles, starting as an Account Executive and eventually becoming Vice President of Client Service. In this role, she managed a $15 million senior living client portfolio and led a team of over 15 professionals. Her responsibilities included strategic consultation, delivery of innovative marketing solutions, and cultivating valuable client partnerships through data-driven insights. Katie’s efforts significantly contributed to client retention and revenue growth, securing annual contract agreements and effectively guiding marketing programs from ideation to implementation.
Her tenure at GlynnDevins was marked by her ability to lead and inspire her teams, drive occupancy for senior living communities, and monitor industry trends to inform business decisions. She played a crucial role in integrating seven companies into the agency’s portfolio, thereby strengthening its expertise and offerings.
Leadership at Lutheran Life Communities
In 2022, Katie transitioned to Lutheran Life Communities in Arlington Heights, IL, where she served as Vice President of Marketing. She was instrumental in increasing lead generation by 87% year-over-year across the enterprise of life plan communities. Katie developed comprehensive marketing programs and strategies that spanned various business lines. Her leadership ensured that marketing goals aligned with sales, occupancy, and revenue objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Katie also represented Lutheran Life Communities as the Membership Marketing Chair of the Illinois Aging Services Network (ILASN) Board, a partnership with LeadingAge Illinois to advocate for post-acute, long-term care and services.
Community Involvement
Beyond her professional achievements, Katie is actively involved in community service. She has been a fundraising volunteer for the Huntington’s Disease Society of America since 2002 and is the founder and organizer of the KC Senior Living Leaders Networking Group, established in 2023. Her dedication to the senior living community extends beyond her professional life, showcasing her commitment to making a positive impact.
