Email Marketing Strategist
Overview
The Email Marketing Strategist is responsible for driving email marketing strategies and executing campaigns that deliver measurable results for clients. This role involves managing marketing automation initiatives, including audience segmentation, email copy creation, automation workflows, A/B testing, and performance analysis. Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Lead the development of comprehensive email marketing strategies tailored to client objectives and target audiences.
- Campaign Execution: Design, build, and deploy email campaigns, including newsletters, product launches, promotional emails, and drip sequences.
- Optimization: Optimize campaigns through A/B testing of subject lines, content, layouts, and CTAs.
- Team Collaboration: Guide and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work for quality and strategic alignment.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Utilize audience segmentation techniques to craft personalized messages that resonate with specific audience groups.
- Automation Workflows: Build and manage automation workflows using platforms like HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar tools.
- Analytics & Reporting: Regularly analyze campaign performance metrics, develop actionable insights, and share recommendations with the team and clients.
- Compliance: Ensure email campaigns adhere to best practices and legal requirements, such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM regulations.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in email marketing, preferably in an agency or client-facing role.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., ActiveDemand, HubSpot, Klaviyo).
- Strong knowledge of email best practices, audience segmentation, and deliverability optimization.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with HTML and email design is a plus.
